Here is another brownie recipe to temp your taste buds.

Carmel Brownies

14 oz pkg. light caramels (about 50)
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 box German Chocolate Cale Mix
3/4 cup butter (melted)
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

In a sauce pan combine caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk on low heat until melted. Set aside.
Combine cake mix, melted butter, 1/3 cup evaporated milk and nuts. Stir by hand until dough holds together. Press half of dough in a buttered 9 X 13 pan. Reserve half of dough for topping. Bake 350 degrees for 6 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle 1 cup of chocolate chips over crust. Spread caramel mixture over chocolate chips. Crumble reserved dough over the caramel layer. Bake at 350 for an additional 15 - 18 minutes. Cool slightly. Refrigerate to set caramel layer. Cut into squares after brownies are cool.

Enjoy.

Not yet! But I've got to try them! I am a brownie lover and make brownies at least once a week! Sometimes twice! No, I would not use 7 eggs -- that is only if I were making the double batch like she did for the reunion. I would halve the recipe and use only 3 eggs. This recipe appealed to me because of the 'crunch' factor the candy bar gives. Do you like to crunch? Then you'll love this recipe!! haha.

Thanks, Barbie, for including your recipe! We will all love making these as who doesn't love caramel?? Thank YOU!!

:-D :-D ;)
