my grandma would make a wonderful dessert for the holidays.

she would bake it in a shallow pan, not real thick.

made with pecans and maybe even walnuts a very thin crust and kind of like a cobbler she served with fresh cream whipped.

it was so good, she passed away and no one has a recipe.

sad....

this made me think of a pie a friend used to make with chopped nuts and ritz crackers - very dense and very good.

Crust
1 cup of plain flour
1-11/2 cup chopped fine pecans
1 stick of marg
1/4 cup of powder sugar

mix the marg with the flour until crumbly, add pecans and sugar, press into a 9x13+ pan and bake @350 until golden brown..let cool
Now this is what I add..it can vary according to what you want.my family likes bananas

2nd layer
i pk of cream cheese
1 cup of powdered sugar 1/2 cup cool whip
mix and spread on crust

3rd layer
4-5 bananas sliced thin

4th layer
1lg box instant vanilla pudding
1lg box or 2 small of banana cream instant pudding
5 cups of milk
mix with mixer until it starts to thicken
pour onto the bananas

finally top with the remaining cool whip..I use a large container for the whole recipe

Hope this is what you needed

My MIL made it with strawberries and just add strawberry jello instead of pudding
Some use chocolate pudding with chocolate chips
You can make it anyway you want
