I need a chicken marinade recipe that calls for peanut butter and A-1 Steak Sauce. I know this sounds really strange, but believe me when I say it is absolutely delicious!!! My sweetie made it for me about two years ago, but he can't remember the amounts to use or if there were any other ingredients that went into it. He said he got it off a bottle of A-1 a long time ago. You combine the ingredients and coat the chicken really well with it and let it sit for a bit. You then put it on the grill. OMGoodness, it is so-o-o-o yummy!!! My mouth is watering just thinking about it!! I have chicken breasts in the fridge, and I want him to make this for dinner tomorrow! :-D

Caribbean Chicken
1/2 c lemon juice
1/3 c honey
3 tbsp canola oil
6 green onions
3 jalapeno peppers (I use only one
fully seeded
3 tsp dried thyme
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground allspice
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
6 boneless chicken breasts

Place the first nine ingredients in a blender or food processor, cover and process until smooth. Pour 1/2 cup in a small bowl to use for basting; cover and refrigerate. Pour the rest in a plastic bag, add chicken. Refrigerate up to 6 hours. Drain the marinade and cook chicken on the grill, basting frequently with the marinade you had put aside.

Sorry, I saw the chicken marinade and hurried to add this. Of course it does not have A-1 or peanut butter, but it is yummy.

mtnmama: That does sound delicious!! I'll have to try that one sometime!! Thanks!!!

He just guessed about the marinade. It turned out pretty good. It needed a bit more flavor, but it was a good start. 8-)
