Default Help with locating a crock pot recipe

Help...I could really use your help. Years back, I tested a recipe out of the owners crock pot manual. I really like the recipe, and have lost it not once, but twice...da!! Normally, I'm not that careless. The recipe was crock pot eggs, it called for eggs, mushrooms, cream of mushroom soup etc. It was just the simplest, yet the moistest eggs, I have ever prepared. It would be wonderful to have the recipe again to serve over night guest. Could I ask you to check your crock pot manuals for the old recipe. By the way, the manual carried a crock pot dressing that is just fabulous too, that recipe I have managed to hang onto. I don't know the name brand of crock pot I had at the time. Thanks in advance.

Do a Search for recipes for crock-pot eggs. There are a lot there and maybe one of them is the one you are hoping to find??

Yes, I have searched endlessly. The recipe can be found in the old crock pot "user manuals." So if you gals, have the time check your user manual. I would be ever so thankful.

I just checked my old, original Rival crockpot recipe manual, dates back to the 70's, and did not find any recipe that just used eggs, mushroom soup, etc. Did it have meat or potatoes in the recipe, or just eggs?

Do you know the brand of crockpot? That would help narrow it down for us.

Why not contact the Crock Pot company? They will probably send ya another manual.

I checked my original Crockpot recipe book (circa mid 60's) and it didn't have any recipes for eggs. Let us know if you find it. Sounds good.

There is only one Crockpot and it's Rival, it patented the name when it came out in 1970. I got mine not long after they hit the shelves. All others are slow cookers, however, they do the same thing they just can't market them as Crockpots. I will check my original manual to see if there are any egg dishes in it. I don't really recall ever seeing one, but will tell you one way or another. I have a Hamilton Beach Slow cooker and a larger Rival Crockpot at present.
