I make this all the time, for the family and often as gifts. Change the mix-ins to suit each person's taste! I like mine on yogurt. A friend likes it on cooked oatmeal. Kids like it as a snack as is.

    Combine in big bowl:
    4 cups oatmeal
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. honey
1/2 c. canola oil o r melted marg or butter
    1 tsp cinnamon
1/2- 1 cup nuts (usually almond slices)
Spread on 2 greased cooky sheets (Pam) or on parchment
Bake at 325 until golden brown, about 22 mins , stirring once.
    Don't wash the bowl yet!
Dump granola back into big bowl w 1 cup of raisins, coconut, dried cranberries, chopped dried apricots, whatever you like. The heat from the cereal will plump the fruit. Let cool.Yummo!
I give this is in a container tied with pink & blue ribbons & a plastic spoon for pregnant girlfriends! Try it. Your kitchen will smell good too!

    Oh, thank you!
I just bought a small bag of cranberry granola for way too much at a farmer's market and was wondering where I'd find a good recipe for some!
