I recently was surfing the net and seen a receipe for homemade hot chocolate and included a little poem with it something about a melted snowman. Alls I remember is it has hot choc mix marshmellows and a candy cane to stir withI thought it would be cute for Christmas morning given with a mug rug and cup for the tweens. Has anyone else seen this and if so where thanks

No one in my house will eat any kid of mint at all. No peppermint anything. If you don't like mint chocolate here is one I use. I use to make this mix by the gallons and give as gifts in pretty quart containers. It's always a welcome gift.
Hot Chocolate Mix
1 8qt instant non-fat dry milk
1 l lb jar of Coffeemate creamer
1 2 lb can of Nestles Quik (2 lb size is no longer sold)
2 cups of powdered sugar.
Directions:
Mix the ingredients together and put 1/3 in each cup of hot water. Do not skimp on the amount of mix per cup.
I usually dry mini marshmallows in a food dehydrator and add to some of jars. This mix stays good on the shelf for months. I have started to mix 1/2 dried whole milk and 1/2 non fat powdered for a richer taste but it's good without doing that!

Got a question... put 1/3 of what in the hot water? Surely not 1/3 of the total mix. Thanks, Glenda Noah

I think it is supposed to be 1/3 CUP of hot chocolate mix and add hot water to fill cup.
