This is my latest addiction! Tastes JUST like a jalapeno popper.
2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
1 c mayo
1 (4 oz) can chopped green chiles, drained
2 oz canned diced jalapeno peppers, drained
1 c grated parmesan cheese
Stir together cream cheese and mayo in a large bowl until smooth. Stir in green chiles and jalapeno peppers. Pour mixutre into a microwave safe serving dish, and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
Microwave on high until hot, about 3 minutes.
Serve with tortilla chips, Ritz crackers or on crusty bread.
I prefer to bake mine than nuke it, I bake at 375 until nice a bubbly!
Caution, let this cool just a touch. I couldn't wait to try it the first time I made and burned the roof of my mouth. Now, I wait!
