My aunt makes the most wonderful melt in your mouth cookies in this world. People rave about them, well she taught me that when you want to make a bunch of different kinds of cookies to give as a gift make them a ahead a little (one batch a week for example, though I always seem to end up doing two batches a day) and stick them in ziploc bags in the freezer.

Granted nothing beats warm from the oven cookies, but after you do that you can always freeze half for later.

That works for most people but not here. There are never any left over to freeze. My husband eats them to quick. :-)

LOL, I hide them. Seriously, I put some out and stash the rest most of the time in the deep freeze. I even have to hide the chocolate chips at my house just to make sure that they're there when I want to make cookies! :D

Oh no, it's not what to do with leftover cookies, it's how to have enough kinds of cookies for baskets.
