Anyone out there have a meat loaf recipe to share? I have one but for some reason doesn't taste as good as it used to. Hubby doesn't like it anymore. Please help if you can. Thanks in advance.

I do "regular" but add garlic, italian seasoned bread crumbs, a little itaalian seasoning and spagetti sauce instead of tomato sauce or catsup.

I have a recipe my Mom always used when I was growing up, made sure I took it when I left home. My kids have now grown up eating this same meatloaf often, and its a family favorite.
Meatloaf with piquant sauce
1 1/2 lbs ground beef, 1/3 cup catsup, 1/3 cup dry bread crumbs, 1 medium to large onion, 1/2tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper, 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce, 1 egg.
Mix above ingredients and place in a 8x4 loaf pan. Then for the sauce combine 6 Tbsp, 1/2 cup catsup, 1/2 cup nutmeg and 2 tsp dry mustard. Mix and pour over meatloaf and bake at 350 for 1 hour.

(Tbsp - Tablespoon, tsp -teaspoon.)

Here's one I've used for years.

1 lb. hamburger
8 oz. can of tomato sauce
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 handful oatmeal (probably 1/2 c.)
1/2 c. or more chopped onion
Stir together and put in loaf pan.
Top with about 3 slices of bacon.
Bake 350 for 1 hour or 15 min. in microwave.

My daugher makes this into meatballs and covers with Cookie's BBQ sauce so her girls don't know they are eating meatloaf.

I've made this for years and love it. Sandwichs next day (or two) are amazing,.

Mix an egg, some crushed Ritz crackers, a pkg of dried onion soup and several "dashes" of Worchester sauce in with the hamb. (If you are making a "huge"one, you may need more egg, etc.). Shape and place in whatever you are going to bake it in. Meanwhile mix 1 or 2 cans of cr. of mushroom soup with about 1/2 to 1 can of water. Pour over the top. Bake at 350 until done. AWESOME mashed potatoes and gravy the first night, leftovers the 2nd, and yummy sandwhiches if there is any left....
