Ihate doing dishes so I'll just keep cutting my usual way with a simple paring knife. BUT if I were going to have to do a lot of bananas, the rack is fine but I would do multiples over a 8"x8" or 9x13 pan.

Hey, thanks for sharing. A really neat trick. I may not use it a lot, but it will be good to keep in the back of my mind. One of those skinny, cheap racks might be good for slicing strawberries. The rack he showed would be too thick for that, but I've seen skinny ones at the dollar store that might just work for slicing a bunch of strawberries and hopefully won't turn them to mush. LOL

The thing is to just remember that when you are making banana bread...
