Default No bake cookie and cream bars

Tried this recipe from Picky Palate and like it. Easy and something different.

One 16 oz package of Oreo Cookies
5 cups large marshmallows
4 tablespoons butter

[h=3]Directions:[/h] Butter an 8X8 inch baking pan. Line the baking pan with parchment paper letting the paper extend up two sides of the pan and overhang slightly on both ends. Butter paper; set pan aside.
In the bowl of a food processor fitted with the metal blade, pulse Oreos until ground.
In a large, microwave safe bowl, melt butter and marshmallows in the microwave until puffed, about 1½ - 2 minutes. Stir in ground Oreo Cookies until combined. Transfer to prepared baking pan. Using a piece of wax paper, press mixture evenly into prepared pan.
Let set up for at least 10 minutes. Cut into bars and serve.

May be a dumb question, but, when crushing those Oreos...do you separate them and just use the cookie or throw the whole "sandwich" in to be pulsed?

Do you grind the cookies fine or leave chunky?

OK, I made these yesterday. I was kind of scared they weren't going to firm up (took way more than ten minutes). But they did, and they taste pretty much like oreo cookies. I am going to cut up in smaller bars because they are rich. I'm going to freeze half (who knows if that will work out) but with the two of us, they will end up being tossed if I don't. Mine do not look pretty. The white marshmallow and dark cookies made a dark grayish color (maybe I have too much marshmallows in the mix).
