1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
1 cup chopped pecans
2/3 cup melted butter ( no substitutes)
2 eggs, beaten

In a bowl, combine brown sugar, flour, and pecans: set aside. Combine butter and eggs; mix well. Stir into flour mixture until moistened. fill greased and floured muffin tins 2/3 full. Bake at 350 degrees until done. Remove immediately and cool Makes 2 1/2 dozen. terrific!!

Are you sure the measurements are correct? How can 1/2 cup of flour make that many muffins?

I think the clue is "pie"... I bet they are not muffins, rather mini pecan pies aka tarts made in muffin tins ... and that the flour comes out to the side like a crust.

Just a guess!

These sound great. I think they would be wonderful done in mini muffin pans!!! Just bake them for less time!
Thanks for sharing a great recipe!

Being from the south, I can tell you that this is a oooooey, goooey PIE, not a soft fluffy cloudy muffin. Pecan pies have NO flour in them. This only does for to create it's own little crust...So nice to not have to cook the mixture with the Karo syrup and temper in the eggs. Much easier! Going to give it a try. I make pies all the time, it's pecan season here!~but this looks so much easier and you have your individual servings~great idea~thanks for sharing

How much time is "til done". How do I test "done"?
