Default Potato Tomato Sandwiches are grrrrreat!

One of my favorite summertime lunches is a Potato Tomato sandwich.. Use a nice nutty bread and spread it well with mayonaise, then add thick slices of microwaved potatos.. Top that with thick slices of fresh garden Tomato... Salt and pepper well and it's ready to enjoy!

Boy does this sound good. I have left over scalloped potatoes from dinner today and fresh tomatoes from the garden.
I like to take a cut up tomato add sliced cucumber and cover with a little ranch dressing. Let set just for a while for the juice from the tomato mixes in with the ranch.

Question Yum

Yum to both those ideas. My summer sandwich is a thinly sliced apple and cheese sandwich with some raspberry jam between.

Sounds good to me. My uncle used to fix onion sandwiches. Couple nice slices of Vidalia onions with mustard in between 2 slices of bread. he said it kept people from bothering him. He never married either. Lol! he made a really good sandwich with the onions and a tomato and thin slices of cucumber also. That I could eat. I had to put cheese on the onions even though they were sweet.

You all haven't lived until you have eaten a lettuce and crunchy peanut butter. On any old bread works just fine!

My favorite is Red Onion & Tomato, a little Best Foods Mayo, plus salt & pepper.
It is great. I think I will have one now. Enjoy!!!
