I'm making these for Easter dinner this year. Saw the recipe in the paper Sunday and it sounds like a good one. I'll probably double it for a larger casserole.
Cheesy Potato Casserole 1 bag Ore-Ida Country Style hashbrowns 1 can Campbell's Cream of Chicken soup 2 cups sour cream 1/2 tsp salt 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese 1/3 cup sliced green onions 1/4 tsp ground black pepper 2 cups crushed corn flakes 1/4 cup melted butter Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat 13 X 9 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Whisk together soup sour cream, salt and pepper. Stir in cheese, onion, and hash browns until well mixed. Spoon into casserole dish. IN a medium bowl, mix corn flakes and butter. Sprinkle evenly on top of potato mixture. Bake uncovwered about 45 minutes, or until hot and bubbly. Allow to rest 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with extra chopped green onions. Sounded so good to me. I'm tired of the same old hash brown casserole..ready for something a little different. |
Some good recipes here! Thanks to all! :)
