Aunt Edith's Recipes
I didn't get any recipes to try for the dinner with my brother and his family so I decided to make things we used to eat as kids. It was a big hit. The Russian sister-in-law begged for the second recipe. I thought I would share a couple of the recipes with you...

Your dinner was a hit because it was comfort food and brought back memories to your brother. I'm glad your SIL like the salad. That one has always been a favorite of mine.

I know this is a silly question but do you make the "jello" or just use the dry powder?? thanks so much I think I will make this for an upcoming meeting of the local cemetery association
I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as my family has over the decades. :) I've been giving leftover hotdog chili away and everyone loves it. I should make it more often. |
