Oh, that's funny -- I just made this cake yesterday! We absolutely love it in our family and my neighbors do to. I've made it for years, too, and I cut it out of a magazine along with the icing recipe. I wish I were not trying to lose weight. I haven't had a piece yet and will try to continue resisting but it's hard!

I know what you mean. Husband likes something sweet so I end up making cookies or cake. This was too hard to resist though.

This is my go to recipes as well however, I use hot coffee in place of the water, mmmm good

I actually did buy some instant expresso powder that I could add to it, maybe.
