Why not just make them a brownie cake?

Or don't make a chocolate cake ... but another flavour!
Spice or pumpkin would be very seasonal, right now.

Read the brownie mix box ... they used to give the instructions on how to make it into a cake. Perhaps go to the corporate website and they might have info on how to do it.

OR ... Just do the brownie with lots of icing and nuts ... they'll be happy with chocolate and icing and not know the difference!

The third link gives you cake from a brownie mix ... I didn't look beyond that to see if there were more.
