Absolutely love it. And adding limes is divine!!

I've started adding a few sprigs of fresh lavender from my herb garden when I make my simple syrup. It just adds the most amazing flavor to homemade lemonade - it is really wonderful.

I purchased a Kitchen aid blender.........what was I thinking? I can only use it for lemonade...........why did I buy it? Impulse...........calla

i did not watch the video (slow connection) but I make lemonade in the blender - wash lemons well, cut in 1/4's or 1/8's, blend with water, strain, add sugar syrup. The peel adds an extra flavor.

Haven't watched the video yet, but a word of warning: When my mother was young and had to cook for all the farmhands, she made lemonade (no such thing as instant then) in a metal container. They all got very sick from poisoning....a reaction between the metal and the acid in the lemons. From then on, she would never (and never let us) make lemonade in a metal container of any kind or stir with a metal utensil.

here is the recipe from the video
Lemonade Ingredients To make this version of homemade lemonade you will need: •6 or 7 lemons •1 cup of sugar •6 cups cold water Lemonade Simple Syrup While you can simply mix the juice water and sugar together some people recommend making a simple syrup. This creates a more even distribution of sugar and eliminates the need for stirring up each glass individually. Boil the Simple Syrup Make the simple syrup first – so it can cool while you squeeze the juice from the lemons. To create a simple syrup – combine your sugar and water and bring to a boil on the stovetop. Boil for approximately five minutes and remove from the heat. Now that the sugar has dissolved let the syrup cool to room temperature. Squeeze the Lemons Prior to squeezing your lemons roll them firmly between your hand and a flat surface – this helps the juice rise to the surface and promotes easier juicing. You should squeeze enough lemons, 6 to 7, to make one cup of pure lemon juice. Mix Lemonade Ingredients Add your lemon juice to the water and sugar mixture and refrigerate.
