Funny Cake

Mix all of the following in mixer, sometimes I put a little splash more of milk…
Pour it in the two pie shells…
1 ˝ cup sugar
˝ cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
2 cups flour
2 tea baking powder
1 cup milk
1 tea vanilla

mix the following in a cereal bowl and pour on the top in the first half of center, this will sink to the bottom as it bakes..

1 cup sugar
˝ cup Hershey cocoa
1 cup hot water

Beat sugar, oil, eggs until well blended. Then all flour, baking powder, milk and vanilla. Beat on medium 2 minutes. Pour into 2 9” unbaked pie crusts. Mix together sugar, cocoa, and hot water. Pour on top of cake batter.

I use a pie shield or wrap the crust with tin foil..

Bake at 350 for 1 hour.

Best when served with tea!!!

You can cut this in half if you like!!

Yes this is my pie I made last night!!!

Because the time/temperature it bakes for, the pie crust would be overcooked, so the foil or or pie shield shields from such!

You make me hungry just looking at that picture. I copied your recipe and certainly look forward to trying it soon. Darn, I am trying to be good so the holidays don't do me in as I try, I say try to lose weight.
