spaghetti salad? chunky kind of?
i have tomatoes/peppers/spring onions from the garden,i also grew cilantro this year .
was wondering if it would not meld with the italian dressing?

what do you think? i have a BBQ to go to tonight, was asked to make the salad.

I'd use lemon juice, salt, pepper and olive oil with that for dressing. Sounds yum!

i think i will not experiment on the people at the BBQ. i have set a small bowl of it aside, and added some salsa..for myself to try later!

I use salsa for a lot of things...I even make a quick lasagna with it, cooked chicken, cheese and usually one other ingredient from whatever i have on hand like green peppers, mushrooms etc. I think it's great with spaghetti and would be good for spaghetti salad.

I love salsa on or with about anything. Expecially good on a 'nuked' scrambled egg sitting on top of half a burger bun. I have a small pyrex dish which is the same size as most burger buns so it's a great fit. I agree salsa does wonders for plain boxed mac and cheese. I like to mix up a meatloaf mixture with lots of salsa in it then shaped into tennis ball to baseball sized servings, place in a pyrex pan, top with paper towels and nuke it all for around 4 minutes. I like to keep these in the freezer for a quick snack...with more salsa added for sure. Who wants to waste too much time cooking when you could be working on your quilt projects????
