:) You guys are SOoo sweet! If you do try it, tell me what variation was your favorite? I have bought pastry crust...used biscuit cutter...sprayed muffin tin...put pastry circles IN muffin spots..(PRICKED)..baked..cooled ..then filled..makes QUICK and easy apps/tarts! :)

Could a person substitute whipping cream in place of the whipped topping. My husband does not care cool whip.

I use to make this pie a lot with the shortbread crust. I had forgotten all about it! I guess I'll put my diet on hold for another week.

I used the premade shortbread crusts last time I made it..I HATE GRAHAM Cracker crusts! lol I never use them! It's cool someone else made it before me! They SO should have! I gave up looking for a recipe that used those ingredients so I made one up a few years ago! Mmm. Diet? Isn't LEMON a fruit, afterall!! And cream cheese..protein?? ;)

My variation of this is 1 lg. and 1 sm. cool whip. 1 can condensed milk and 1 can frozen lemonade. Mix together and pour into graham cracker pie crust and freeze. (makes 2 or maybe 3 pies.)

It is. Only thing that CAN go wrong is TOO much condensed milk...which Is Yummy but
