Looking for a recipe
I'm hoping someone can help me. I'm trying to find a recipe for a no bake chocolate peanut butter ball that is made with instant chocolate pudding, peanut butter , powdered sugar and I don't remember what else (I think butter). It is rolled in powdered sugar when done and then is kept in the refrigerator. It aost takes like a fudge. I lost my recipe and don't even remember the real name of it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

You can simply type into your search engine No Bake Peanut Butter Balls and come up with the recipe. Or look at www.justapinch.com and or www.joyofbaking.om/candy/PeanutButteralls. Hope this helps.

I think what you are looking for are called 'buckeyes'. My daughters teacher made them as a class project.
Paula Deen has a recipe for them I believe. |
This is one I use at Christmas.
In a small bowl mix together 1 cup milk and 1 small box instant chocolate pudding. Set aside. Cream together 1/3 c chunky peanut butter and 4 oz cream cheese in a medium bowl. Add the pudding mixture and blend until mixed. Roll into balls. Roll the balls in powdered sugar, about 1/2 cup. Also works to place the powdered sugar in a bag and add a few balls at a time, shaking to coat the balls. Option to roll the coated balls in crushed nuts. Place the balls on a wax paper lined cookie sheet or in a lined plastic storage container and refrigerate. |
Oh!!! These look good. Might have to try before Easter. Thanks for requesting this recipe.

Could you use pistasio pudding and make green ones?
|
Wouldn't be Buckeyes, they use no pudding, just peanut butter, xxsugar, vanilla, mixed together. rolled in balls. Then the balls are dipped 3/4 of the way in melted chocolate. They end up looking like the nuts from the Buckeye trees in Ohio.

Would the peanut butter go with the pistasio?
