I like this recipe. It's the way I was always taught to make them. Now I'm hungry!!

Hmmm, very similiar to the "Tady Bread" we used to have at home. On difference was that they were rollled out before cooking.

I love these! My mother used to make them too. Sometimes, she would put the leftover corn in them too. I have made them in the past but they just don't taste the same. . .

I really like this site. I bookmarked it for later. The pizza casserole sounds good too.

Had them many times when I was growing up, mom never taught me to cook,(she did teach me to sew). Do remember trying to make them once when I went out on my own, no luck. I will have to try again using this recipe. Thannk you.

My mother used to make them. I miss my mother's cooking. She has been gone for 8 years this New Years Eve.

You just never get over missing your mother. Thankfully I think I have most of her recipes.Of course some read a dash of that and a pinch of that. What? I need real measurements.

My Mom used to make bread pudding when we were kids. I only ate it a few times because my whole family raved over it but they put it in a bowl while it was warm and pour cream or milk over it....yuck! ! ! I can't eat anything muchy and even though, I can't dunk a donut and put it in my mouth without choking, crazy huh! Now that I'm older, I realize that not everything that has milk over it gets mushy. LOL I guess it was one of those kid things like eating vegetables. And, I don't ever remember Mom saying I 'had' to put milk on it. I used to sneak in the frig later in the evening after we were finished dinner and scoop a little out of the tray and eat it cold, yum yum....lol...The crazy things we do when we're kids, lololol...Anyhow, I remember her bread pudding being soooo good, with out the milk/cream...
