My Banana Pudding
 
My Banana Pudding<o:p></o:p>
1 large pkg. vanilla cooked pudding plus 1 cup sugar added<o:p></o:p>
Slice your bananas <o:p></o:p>
¾ pkg Pecans Sandies crushed- save ¼ cup of crumbs<o:p></o:p>
Put bananas and crushed cookies in putting <o:p></o:p>
Cover with remaining crumbs.<o:p></o:p>
Enjoy <o:p></o:p>

I've often added bananas to pudding ... really nice with chocolate too!

Though I don't understand why you would need/want even more sugar added to an already sweetened pudding mix?

I use vanilla wafers and bananas with the instant vanilla pudding mix. I too would not add any extra sugar.

I add cool whip and sour cream to my instant pudding mix. No extra sugar. Layer with vanilla wafers and bananas.

Did anyone see on Today Show the other day, the guy (not sure of his name) from Americas Test Kitchen made banana pudding, he said to bake an under ripe (if memory serves me correctly) banana for 20 minutes at 350.(unpeeled) Mash it up and add to pudding. Adds banana flavour and it does not brown as bananas, do. And does not add more liquid to the pudding. I may have to try that one out for myself with one of the above recipes.
