I bag of Rhodes Cinnamon rolls (frozen)
this is for 6 rolls. 1 small box of cook and serve vanilla pudding 1 cup of brown sugar 2 tablespoons of milk or cream 1 stick of melted butter (not margarine) 1 cup plus of pecans or walnuts In the bottom of a 9 x 9 baking pan spread the nuts. I use 2 cups of pecans. Place the frozen rolls evenly on top of the nuts. Sprinkle the top of the rolls with the dry pudding mix. Mix the butter and brown sugar and milk together and pour over the rolls and pudding mix. Cover and place in a warm area and raise according to package instructions. Bake the rolls in a preheated oven according to package instructions. You may need to bake a few minutes longer then the instructions. When the rolls are done..flip over on a foil lined plate or baking sheet. If you use the large 12 count package of rolls use the large box of cook and serve pudding mix, 2 sticks of butter and 4 tablespoons of milk. This recipe sounds a little weird..using the pudding mix. You will not believe how wonderful they are. Enjoy! |
Sounds delicious.

This recipe is similar to yours, but you let them raise
over night. A favorite. LC Cinnamon Rolls 1 1/2 loaves of frozen bread - almost thaw and cut apart about 2 inch pieces and put in a greased 9x13 inch pan Mix together (make this before you cut the dough and put it in pan) 1 stick of butter 1 large package of vanilla pudding (it has to be the kind you cook) Jell-O Cook & Serve 2 T. milk 2 t. cinnamon 1 cup brown sugar packed Melt butter, add Jell-O, milk, cinnamon & brown sugar pour mixture over bread, cover and put in the refrigerator over night. In the morning take out let sit for about 20 minutes. Pre-heat oven 350 and bake 30 minutes. |
Thank you, sounds great.

That sounds so good. I will have to make them, but I think I will wait for fall when it is a tad cooler. I love pecans and 2 cups sounds wonderful. Thanks so much for sharing.

I have a very similar recipe. I put it all together at night (10 or so) and let it sit on the counter overnight, then bake in the morning.
We call them sticky buns! |
I let mine on the counter over night also. I call them sticky buns also..but I used pecan cinnamon rolls because with all the different places represented on here..I thought they wouldn't know what sticky buns where. LOL
