Pizza Puffs a 3 year old can make

I am tending my grandkids for the next few days. My grandson loves to help me cook so today I let him make pizza puffs. Of course I pre-measured everything for him. He had lots of fun putting the ingredients in the bowl and mixing it all up. He even put the dough into the muffin tin by himself.

3/4 cup Bisquick
1/2 tsp oregano leaves
1 egg beaten
1/4 cup milk
1 cup Mozzarella Cheese
1 cup chopped pepperoni
1/2 cup spaghetti sauce for dipping
mixed with a little dried or fresh basil leaves

Combine Bisquick and oregano leaves. In another bowl beat the egg, then add the milk. Pour liquid into the bisquick and whisk just until moistened. Add the cheese and pepperoni, stir gently. Let stand for a few minutes. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a 24 ct mini muffin tin. Place one spoonful of dough in each cup of the muffin tin. The recipe I used said to bake them for 20-25 minutes but I thought this was too long as ours turned out a little dark. I would adjust the baking time to 12-15 minutes next time. Serve with warmed sauce for dipping.

Thank you for the pictures and the recipe. What a handsome young man! You are a good grandmother for helping him learn how to do this--and the puffs look delicious.

Can't wait for my grandson to try this recipe. He loves to help me bake. I also have him stitching a little. He takes things so serious and has the look on his face like your grandson. They are so precious. What a great memory for you all.

Awe what a handsome little chef you have there...and he looks so intense doing his cooking. The memories he will cherish the rest of his life. I remember cooking with my grandma as a child.. sooooo long ago. He did a fantastic job with his pizza puffs. My son calls them Pizza Balls. He is such a handsome little guy... thanks so much for sharing. I so love to see pictures of little ones in glory..and how proud they are.
