Grape Salad
3 cups grapes, 1 cup sour cream, 8 oz cream cheese softened, 1 cup sugar, 2 tsp vanilla, 1 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1 1/2 cup pecans chopped. Mix the sour cream, cream cheese, sugar and vanilla. Cream with a mixer until smooth. Mix in the grapes by hand. Toast the pecans in a pan on the stove. When the pecans are toasted, add the brown sugar to the pan and remove the pan from the stove. Allow the brown sugar to heat thoroughly in the pan off the burner. cool. Top the grapes with the brown sugar mixture, do not stir. I usually don't use all the sour cream misture since it seems to make too much. The extra is great as a fruit dip. |
Thank you for your help.. I will use one of these...
