Snickerdoodle alert

If you love snickerdoodle cookies, may I suggest you go to duncanhines.com. I made a batch of their snickerdoodle cupcakes to take to a family picnic today. They were a hit. Extremely easy and yummy. Smelled like heaven while baking.

Just tried Snickerdoodle ice cream Sunday night. Yummy.

Printed the recipe off as snickerdoodles rate way up there in our house!!

Sounds good, but I'll make a few changes. Skip the frosting, decrease the milk by a TBSP or so, and add diced apples or blueberries. Less guilt, not so sweet? Will try it in 2 weeks for a family gathering. I made Snickerdoodles many, many times growing up. My favorite cookie.

Yes, the icing was a bit intense. If nothing else, I would use a lot less of it the next time.

I notice that the recipe calls for "whole" milk. Will it be ruined if I use 1%?

SouthPStitches 08-12-2012 01:22 PM

Can't imagine it would. I use nothing but 2% for all my cooking/drinking.
