Snicker's Salad...for real

http://blogchef.net/snickers-salad-recipe/

Not sure if this is really a salad but sure looks good to me. If I make it do I have to share?

redquilter 07-13-2013 11:24 AM

Of course you have to share! Snickers used to be one of my all time favorite candy bars.

My niece makes this when we have family potluck sounds like the same recipe she usually uses delicious apples in hers and instant vanilla pudding but no cream cheesee there is never any left overs .

Ohhhhhhh, I had this at a sewing day in our quilt guild one time. It is fabulous!!!! Snickers are my favorite candy bar too.

I've had this before and it was YUMMY. I would consider it more a dessert, just like the grape salad I've had I would consider a dessert.

This is delicious ! I went to a party and the hostess was making 3 different salads like this one. One had Butterfinger candy bars, one had snickers and I forget the other. All were fantastic and she promised to give me the recipes but each time I've asked, you would think I was asking for money. I know that one of them had green grapes in it, but forgot which. Thanks for giving us the recipe.

Cool Whip is frozen whipped topping. Like artificial whipped cream.

Very very good, but make that day, doesn't keep well overnight. Making a big bowl for Mom's birthday bbq as it went very very fast at the church supper!

Snicker salad is to die for.

Wannabee quiltin. I make the grape salad all the time. http://www.food.com/recipe-finder/all/grape-salad . If the link doesn't work go to food.com and search for grape salad. It is the most popular one. So yummy. I usually cut down the sugar in the dressing by half. Last time i made it I was too lazy to go to the store for more grapes. SO I used half grapes and half granny smith apples. I added some dried cranberries too. They went crazy for it at a picnic.

I first saw this salad at a Pampered Chef show I hosted in 1988. The consultant made this as part of the demo. It is quite tasty.

I make this as a diabetic desert - I use all sugar free items.......... of course there are carbs but can be eaten in moderation.

Guess what I am having for dinner? Salad....(I wish)...I would eat more salad if this is the type I could have - I guess we can only dream.
