Just think at a family gathering you told everyone you got a good deal at the meat market and today's menu was ELEPHANT STEW.
I love homemade stew, it is good in cold weather.

I think it's good anytime you can get it. Most everyone eats in an air conditioned dining area anyway so pretend it's cold.

hehehe .that is like dirt cake .. LOVE IT !!! First time I ever made that the kids weren't gonna eat it till they saw their dad eat it !LOL
I am so gonna do the elephant stew next time the in-laws are out !LOL

Remember the old receipe? Roast 1 elephant and 1 rabbit. The rabbit is in case you run out of meat.
