Stuffed Mushrooms
If you like Mushrooms, you'll love this one ! It's easy
One large package of medium size mushrooms One pound of cooked sausage, I like the hot sausage. One box of Cornbread stuffing Cookie sheet ( with 1/2 inch edge, not flat ) or pie pans, cake pans etc. Cheese (optional) Wash mushroom and remove stems. Cook sausage, cutting it into small pea size pieces. Cook the Cornbread stuffing according to the directions on the box. Mix the sausage and stuffing together. Stuff the mushrooms with the mixture. Place them on a cookie sheet in a 350 degree oven Lay a piece of foil on top so they won't get to crisp. Bake about 25 minutes, until mushrooms are to your liking. Enjoy Jeanette |
LOVE stuffed mushrooms, my MIL used to make them (italian style) and they always disappeared fast.
