Terrie's Better Than Sex Dessert - aka Death by Chocolate!

Posted that i was giving this recipe to my niece to be on her wedding day. By request from a few members here is the recipe!

1 box chocolate cake mix
2 small boxes instant chocolate pudding
2 - 3/4 cup milk
Large container of Cool Whip
Crushed up heath bars - or heath bits, skor bits (i find it is easier to use these than chopping those darn heath bars)

Make cake according to directions on box. Bake in a jelly roll pan at 350 degrees ofr 20-25 minutes. Cut the cooled cake into cubes. Make the pudding using the two boxes and the 2 - 3/4 cup milk. In a large bowl or trifle dish put a layer of cake cubes, a layer of pudding ( it will be thick) cool whip and sprinkle with heath bits. Repeat the layers again.

This is so yummy! what i like is you usually have pretty much everything in the cupboard (except for the heath bits)

Make sure you keep it refrigerated until serving

I have had this, I think, and it is so good!! Someone on the board here has a signature line, "I tried Death by Chocolate, but it just made me stronger." LOL!!!

I have made this except that I use brownies instead of chocolate cake. It is sooooo. . . good!

Seems to be alot of variations on this one: http://www.quiltingboard.com/recipes...ake-t3250.html I've used one that is called Sex-In-A-Pan but is more work and alot of $$. I will post it on a separate spot so as not to confuse your recipe here.

We had this once at a potluck supper and were begging to lick the bowl when it came back to the kitchen to be washed!:o
