So I was looking for a no-bake cheesecake recipe and all of them called for heavy whipping cream. I of course didn't have that in my house...so I tried to find one that didn't have it in there.
I came across a recipe that actually called for evaporated milk to be used instead of the whipping cream. I was skeptical at first, but it worked like a charm! Was exactly what I needed. Just use even portion of evaporated milk to an even portion of whipping cream to substitute! It was fabulous! |

I substitute cool whip or dream whip for the cream! works great!

Hmmmm...I was wondering what I could use as a lower cal. option for the heavy whipping cream. I have several recipes that call for it that we really love...but they are soooo fattening!!!

I use one that only calls for 1 pkg cream cheese, can of sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and lemon juice. Just mix it all together and pour into crust.
