Thanks Ccorazone for asking for a pumpkin butter recipe and thanks Nyga for sharing the link. Love to make apple butter here in PA in the fall. Have thought about Pumpkin Butter, now I will be able to give it a try.

Thanks for the recipe. I love pumpkin butter, but I would love a recipe that is canned and shelf stable. Most recipes say it is not shelf stable, but I have bought it before so I know there must be a recipe. Thanks for reminding me how good pumpkin butter is!!!!!!!!

It is my understand, that because pumkin is so thick, it is not save to home canning. It must have commerical pressure canning to be truly safe. Just my 2 cents. I love pumpkin butter also and have made it in the past but gave most of it away when I realized it needed to be eaten up right away. HTH

Default Pumkin Butter

I like this one for ease of making and being able to keep it a long time.

I used to make apple and pear butter all the time. Pumpkin butter sounds yummy too. Thanks.
