    I'm making these today...
    From a LQS

    Raspberry Oatmeal Bars

    3 cups uncooked oatmeal
    1 1/2 cup flour
    1 cup brown sugar
    1 cup Margarine, melted
    3/4 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    10 - 12 oz jar of preserves

In a large bowl combine all ingredients except preserves and mix well. Reserve 1 cup mixture. Press remaining mixture into greased 9 x 13 baking pan.
Spread preserves over crumb crust to within 1/2 inch of edge. Sprinkle with reserved crumbs
    Bake at 350º for 25 - 30 minutes.
    Enjoy!

These sound yummy! I might just make them for a family get-together on Sunday.

Does it matter if you use quick cooking or whole oats?
