Can anyone here recall the recipe for a grape, sour cream and brown sugar salad type dessert? I made it for Easter and cannot find the recipe on here. when I search in grape salad I get recipes but not the one I made from here...I just want the proportions for the cream and brown sugar amounts...

Grape Salad

3 cups grapes, 1 cup sour cream, 8 oz cream cheese softened, 1 cup sugar, 2 tsp vanilla, 1 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1 1/2 cup pecans chopped.

Mix the sour cream, cream cheese, sugar and vanilla. Cream with a mixer until smooth. Mix in the grapes by hand. Toast the pecans in a pan on the stove. When the pecans are toasted, add the brown sugar to the pan and remove the pan from the stove. Allow the brown sugar to heat thoroughly in the pan off the burner. cool. Top the grapes with the brown sugar mixture, do not stir.

I usually don't use all the sour cream misture since it seems to make too much. The extra is great as a fruit dip.

This is a site I am receiving a daily newsletter from. They have many recipes and also if you type in Grape Salad in the search block, you will be directed to the recipe. Many of the QB members might be interested in this site. WARNING it is addictive like this site.

I'll also send the recipe in another reply
