When my daughter sent me this recipe I thought it would be blah. But it's so easy, and so good!

Easy Peanut Butter Fudge (or other variations)

Put one 12 ounce bag of Reese's peanut butter chips in a glass
bowl, spread them out so that they are not all in the middle of
the bowl and they will melt easier. Cook in microwave for 1 and
1/2 minutes. Take out and stir, then stir in one can vanilla
frosting (NOT WHIPPED), stir real well and put back in microwave
and cook for 1 minute. Take out, add 1 teaspoon vanilla
and pinch of salt, and stir. Put in a 8x8 inch or 9x9 inch
buttered pan. Cool in refrigerator for 20 minutes, cut and eat.

More variations of Fudge

You may add 1/2 - 1 cup of chopped nuts to any of the variations

Chocolate chips/chocolate frosting (this is for the die-hard
chocolate-lovers)
Peanut Butter chips/chocolate frosting (tastes like Reese's
Peanut Butter Cup
Chocolate chips/vanilla frosting (not as chocolately)
Mint chocolate chips/chocolate frosting (tastes like Andes mint)
Cherry chips/chocolate frosting (tastes like a chocolate covered
cherry)
Vanilla chips/any flavor frosting
Milk chocolate chips/coconut pecan frosting

Well, I am certainly going to try it!! I'll let you know how it turns out!

BTW - in case many of you haven't heard of the easiest dessert in the world, I will share it with you. I first tasted is made with canned peaches and I've made it with canned apples, too. But we like it with frozen berries (we buy the mixed rasp/blue/straw berries) Anyway, it is soooo easy, I can pop it in the oven during commercials! Gotta have some whipped cream or ice cream on hand too.

Take 2 large cans of fruit or 2 packages of berries, dump it into a 9x12. Include the juice but since the frozen berries don't have as much juice, I add a cup of apple juice or whatever juice I have on hand (not tomato or OJ, though!)

Then, sprinkle a cake mix on top (I use any yellow cake mix) Last nite I used pineapple cake mix and it was delicious! Sprinkle it all over evenly.

Then melt some butter/margarine (about a half cup or so) and drizzle that on top

Bake at 350 for about 45 minutes (check it at 30 minutes) You want it to get brown and bubbly.

Great while its still warm!

I've made a similar recipe too. One can cherry pie filling, one can crushed pineapple. Yellow cake mix on top, melt on stick margarine, pour over the top and sprinkle 1/2 cup chopped pecans on top. Bake at 350 degrees until browned. It's delicious with ice cream. It's called "dump cake" in my part of the world!!

I used to make that recipe years ago and we loved it. The recipe was lost along the way. Thanks so much for posting and I can't wait to try the easiest fudge recipe as well.
