I like to make things festive and this cake does that.

Bake two round layer chocolate cake. Put lay believe ers together.
Put kit kat bars around the out side of cake in vertical fashion .
Ribbon around the kit kats to hold them together. Add m&m candy on top.
Makes a colorful cake that chocolate lovers will enjoy.

How do you cut the cake with ribbon on it? Must be a candy ribbon? Don't get it. .....sorry....

I'm sure you undo the ribbon at the time ... and slice away.

It'd make for such a lovely presentation with the ribbon .... especially a nice bright red one.

Or perhaps use some quilting cotton, well starched, and a 2" strip cut.
