Default My new favorite recipe.

Super easy and so delicious
Put tomatoes with any seasoning you like add little chicken stock in blender, heat and add generous amount of cream cheese or to taste. The more stock the more like soup. Less stock and you have a terrific sauce.

I made a pot of this for my guild's last potluck and the members were scraping the bottom of the pot with bread. LOL

What do you do with it? Is it a dip?

Sounds easy , did you use it as a sauce over pasta or what?

I made it thin and it was a soup for guild with hot garlic bread. I make it thick for sauce for pasta. Great over chicken breasts or for the kids to dip chicken pieces.

Fresh tomatoes or canned tomatoes, or does it matter?

Love your avatar!

Oh yeah, that's how I make tomato soup! I just heat the canned tomatoes in a sauce pan, add some cream cheese and italian herbs and blend it right in the pan with my immersion blender.

A can of stewed tomatoes and a small can of condensed milk make a great pasta sauce - add sauteed onion or whatever you like. Nice creamy texture, sweet and savory at the same time.
