Default What's Cookin' at Your House?

Hamburgers, fresh green beans and lettuce, tomato, cucumber salad here. Fresh nectarines and plums for dessert. Ice tea for DH, hot tea for me!

What are you serving?

We were going to get pizza, but decided to eat here! I had Sicilian spedinis in the freezer (I posted a recipe a few months ago). So we had those, with a simple pasta with olive oil/garlic/cherry tomatoes. Now that our stomachs have rested, we're having strawberries and sherbet.

Tonight if we decide to eat dinner, it will be

pinto beans
french bread and fried taters.

Tomorrow it is going to be...

Homemade potato salad
Cole Slaw
and a rotisserie chicken (I have one of those Showtime counter-top rotisserie ovens)

I love fish fries, but around here Fri night going out is a nightmare. So we've been doing fish fry on Wed nights instead.

We had chicken salad with grapes and pecans, its been too hot to cook, so I am mostly using the roaster oven set up on the deck so the heat stays outdoors
