All the other brands of marinated artichokes were a little bland and tasted oily. The Cara Mia ones have a bit of a tanginess to them.

Chasing Hawk, Yes! I love the Cara Mia brand - just can't always find it here in the boonies.

I grew up in the town where the factory is at, Castroville, California. Surrounded by artichoke fields as far as the eye could see.

Now the waiting begins! All ready for dinner tonight... wouldn't you know we got rain today after weeks of hot sunshine but we'll enjoy a salad anyway. Thanks again for the recipe.

Both of us really enjoyed it and we have enough for tomorrow night as well! We had a real downpour early this morning and now the wind has come up, so we are hoping our brown grass will get some green happening before winter hits! Hope you get your needed rain soon.
