I have not used them, but what I like is a new product by Rust-Oleum that can be purchased at Home Depot. It is a can of Anti-slip coating and comes in a 12 oz can. I paid $6.79 for the can. Spray it...

I have an old Singer 95-1 that is a workhorse, I have had it for about 40 years, my mom had it for who knows how long before that, but it uses high shank feet, so none of them fit.
