I too have the rulers but have never tried them. Log cabin is my favorite pattern and I have yet to make one except a 3 1/2" block border that was paper pieced for a small lap quilt. Some day.........

If you spray on one side and press on the other...

If you spray on one side and press on the other side you will not get any flaking. Heavy starch is for bias strips--spray and press twice before cutting.
