I expect to celebrate with my family over zoom. Until we have a vaccine and get things under control, we don’t want to risk getting anyone sick. I’m thinking Christmas will be the same.

Have you considered using a serpentine stitch with your walking foot? You could center it on the seams or go diagonally on the white squares only.

I got the braids sewn to the center log cabins. Now I need to think about an outer border. Don’t want all those bias edges on the outside.
