I make a copy of the articles an helpful information I want and keep them in a binder.
The patterns I want are also copied and placed in a plastic sleeves and put in another binder.

I went to JoAnn's and they have cloth carriers that have plastic, zipped pockets, another area for pencils, scissors, etc. I have made a queen sized quilt using this and it is only about 8 x 5 inches...

I use the excess batting I cut from my quilts for the potato bags. I have had no trouble, however, I only use Warm and Natural batting. I would not use polyester as I think it could catch on fire.
