Don't know why they would put 'marking tape' on it? There are 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 and 5/8 inch marking on the plate and that is what I use. Very accurate.

Sometimes you just want to lay everything down and go make yourself a sandwich! I am now putting the last of the triangles on the edge.

I have found when doing triangles, you HAVE to get the 1/4 inch seam exactly right. That means restiching a lot of times. But I have the time. This is a quilt you don't get in a hurry with. LOL
