This is a pattern I purchased in Alaska. Alaskan Animals by Satoko. The pattern has a set of 24 animals you can embroider. This was my first attempt at red work. One of my favorite quilts!

Thank you. The strips are sewn on muslin squares. I quilted the entire top when it was completed. I've never tried QAYG method. I just love to sit for hours and hand quilt!
