My friend Tammy Barfels, Daisy Ridge Quilting, has an original quilt on the COVER of the 2013 American Patchwork & Quilting Calendar.....it's also the featured quilt on March.

NO quilt police here, don't you just love the way it turns out when you use this method. My other, perhaps more favorite is OBW method. Love the black background, stunning ... do another one ok !

Although I have not tried it yet, i bought some 'Color Catcher'. Perhaps you could take a small portion and see how it works before you applique the black fabric.
