I cut t-shirts up into strips and make "yarn" ...

I cut t-shirts up into strips and make "yarn"
then crochet, knit and wrap rope for bowls using the strips....they also make fun doll hair.
and some of them will get used to practice ice dyeing ...

Also, you can also tap into the workshop/speaker lists of other guilds in your area. Most guilds list their schedule of programs/speakers on their web...

be careful with tailor's chalk. I got some that was made with wax and never did wash out.
It was not intended to wash out bcuz it was meant for garment construction - used on the inside of garments...
