I agree with Connecting Threads, although I have only sewed a quilt kit once. But CT gave plenty of fabric--I didn't have to scimp. (My big fear!):) In fact, I think I even have some left over.

Maybe the snippets were soaked in diluted Elmers' Glue. I have used that in place of Modpodge. However then it could only be used for decorative things.
